Rookie goaltender Connor Ingram did everything he could to put the Predators in position to tie the series in Game 2, but after a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime loss, Nashville got +190 underdogs from the line money for Game 3, giving them an implied win probability of just 34.48% of picking one up.
Predators Big Home Underdogs in Game 3
Things aren’t looking for the Predators. After losing 2-0 in the series, they now have the longest odds in the Western Conference of any team.
While Ingram stood on his head to give Nashville a chance in Game 2, he’s another rookie, and a contender in Calder Trophy odds at times during the season, whose Predators would welcome more production. .

Tanner Jeannot scored 24 goals in the regular season, to lead all rookies, but hasn’t found the net a single time in his last 14 games since the regular season. With the Preds scoring just three goals in the first two games, Music City are desperate for Jeannot to break their goalless streak.

Avalanche vs Predators Game 3 Pick
With the score settled in overtime in Game 2, the Avalanche carried the game, outscoring the Predators 50-26.
Juuse Saros’ status for Game 3 remains up in the air, but he can’t play much better than Ingram in the Nashville goal in Game 2.
When asked if Juuse Saros might return when the series moves to Nashville, John Hynes replied, “I wouldn’t rule it out just yet.” Saros skates without skates.

The Avalanche hope a victory in Game 3 will propel them to a first-round sweep like they did for the St. Blues last year.
While expectations are that Colorado will win Game 3, Saturday’s Avalanche vs. Predators NHL odds aren’t exactly good value for the Avs on the moneyline at -230.
Instead, expect the nets to be filled like in Game 1. The last two times these teams played in Nashville, they hit over on both chances. Additionally, Nashville will be extremely determined to show more offense than they have in the first two games. Bet on 6.5 goals at odds of -124 at Barstool Sportsbook.
Choose: More than 6.5 (-124)
