Everything, everything, shares the new song “Bad Friday”: listen

British rock artists Everything Everything have announced a new album Raw Data Sensationsequel to the 2020s Resuscitator. In addition to news, a first single, “Bad Friday”, as well as a music video. Not only that, but Everything Everything will be releasing a limited-edition lyric book. Caps Lock On: Lyrics + Debris 2007-2022falling on the same day as Raw Data Sensation.

Explaining the meaning of “Bad Friday”, frontman Jonathan Higgs says, “This song is about being a victim of violence, explaining it through the gauze of a ‘crazy party’. We wanted the video to have a monochromatic classicism Ink Spots, disrupted by elements of AI-generated imagery.This reflects the approach to songwriting and production – the minimalist combined with the surreal and the disorienting.
