Greeley Stampede looking for bar staff

Summer is fast approaching and with it comes the 100and Greeley Scramble! With more than 220,000 annual visitors, the Stampede expects 100and to attract even more people who want to celebrate the historic event. Now is your chance to join in the community celebration by becoming a seasonal bartender. Positions available include bartenders, bar backs, and beverage warehouse associates.

“Each year, we hire more than 100 seasonal employees to join us in hosting Northern Colorado’s premier western celebration,” commented Morgan Moisey, Greeley Stampede Beverage Coordinator. “The bar staff play a key role in making the customer experience memorable in a fun, safe and enjoyable environment.”

Overall, the Stampede is looking for high-energy, outgoing, friendly, and personable individuals with excellent communication skills to serve drinks to guests. Bartenders will greet customers, inquire about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve drinks. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and able to work a minimum of five (5) shifts throughout the twelve (12) day event.

Bar Backs will help bartenders by pouring beer and filling bars. Beverage Warehouse Associates will work in the Stampede Beverage Warehouse and assist with product distribution throughout the park. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and able to work a minimum of five (5) shifts throughout the twelve (12) day event.

The Greeley Stampede, a 501(c)4 nonprofit corporation, is Colorado’s premier summer western celebration. The historical 100and The annual Greeley Stampede presented by JBS runs from June 23 to July 4. This long-running event has grown in diversity and popularity since its inception and has provided rodeo music and entertainment to hundreds of thousands of people each summer. The Stampede has been inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and has received numerous awards, including PRCA Mountain States Grand Rodeo of the Year, RMCMA Event of the Year, and a Top 10 US Today Rodeo.
